Geppi's!

So I went to Geppi's Entertainment Museum with the hubs, baby and brother on Thursday, it was amazing!  I geeked out so bad over the comis book room.  And Devin's(my tattoo artist) room was awesome!

The painting was titled "Tiffany is breakfast"....LOVE IT!
In other news I got an E-mail from HouseOfMysteriousSecrets.com today and they want more of my stuff to sell since all but 3 of my pieces have sold out there!  I can't even explain how awesome it feels to just scroll down the site and see "out of stock" next to my stuff!  I put a lot of work into everything I make.  I mold it, paint it, manipulate it, ect..  I don't just glue shit together or put a pendant on a chain or set of earrings.  I MAKE my stuff.  And I love that through etsy and HOMS I'm getting it out there.  Art has become a part time job kinda, which is just too perfect!  I'm going to push it as far as I can.

Mad Marge and the Stonecutters - Shake

Zombie Nation!

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone...and so has my cold from hell.  Thank jebus.  Sick as I was, I hosted my first Thanksgiving and it went great.  I cooked enough food for a freakin' army so I've been reliving Thanksgiving via left overs for a week.  And being sick over the black Friday weekend turned out pretty sweet.  I shopped online and rewarded myself (for cooking for a week to feed my fam plus the inlaws!) with a super hot switchblade stiletto dress I completely intend to wear to see Calabrese in May.  I also did some xmas shopping and scored huge for my daughter on carters.com.  Also houseofmysterioussecrets.com sold out of my light switch covers over black Friday so I have to say, sick or not it was an awesome holiday/weekend! (I got the red leopard print)

Moving on...My tattoo artist (Devin from Shepke Studios) has an exhibit at Geppi's Entertainment Museum call Zombie Nation http://www.geppismuseum.com/default.asp?t=1&m=1&c=52&s=499&ai=101884
It opened in October and will be open until the end of this month.  I'm going to check it out tomorrow.  Should be awesome.  He does some really amazing work.

Also in time for the holidays I put up a new piece on Etsy just in time for the Holidays.  It's a super cute pin up inspired hair clip/fascinator.  http://www.etsy.com/listing/63409487/christmas-holiday-pin-up-red-poinsettia
I worked on a bunch of new eyeball flower hair clips today, too.  I'll get around to adding them to etsy.

First blog!

I hate when my husband has to work Friday nights.  He's a medical laboratory scientist...big name for he does lab work at the hospital.  He works the over night shifts which I still to this day can't get completely used to.  I like to think of him as my mad scientist frankenstein type toiling over bubbling test tubes laughing maniacally c:  But for real, it's harder to deal with than I think a lot of people realize...you only get to sleep in the same bed as your husband twice a week.  I think we make it work pretty damn well though.

It's been a lot easier since we've had Scarlett seeing as I still have her sleeping in the same room as me at almost 7 months hahaha....sometimes I don't think she'll even use her room before we move in March....move to our HOUSE!  Pretty exciting stuff.  I mean, I bitch about our apartment all the freakin' time but we have been here for almost 4 years....and we got married and had Scarlett while living here.  There's a shit ton of great memories but there's also the not so good....I dealt with some pretty bad personal struggles while living here...but also overcame them.  AND at the house we'll have so much more room for our "collectables" aka his transformers and vintage vw stuff and my horror everything collection.

Uhg, I need sleep...tomorrow starts the crazy cleaning before the week of thanksgiving cooking.  I took on doing a thanksgiving dinner for 12.  Stressed, yes.  Worried, no.    I'm a hell of a cook, but I have to get to done with a baby that JUST learned to crawl.
